Sondra Sparks received her BA degree in Drama from the University of California at San Bernardino.
She also received her Master of Arts in Education from Oglethorpe University, Atlanta. For twelve
years (1993-2005), Sondra taught sixth-eighth grades at Perimeter Christian School in Duluth,
Georgia. For the last seven years at Perimeter, she primarily taught English. Sondra also has nine
years of teaching experience in California where she taught high school drama and speech, and all
subjects in sixth grade. She has a total of twenty-one years of full-time teaching and two years of
part-time teaching with home school students and a love for teaching students how to write and
appreciate literature. Sondra’s husband Terry works in international missions with Bible Training
Centre for Pastors. They both have a love for missions having also served on Campus Crusade for
Christ for eighteen years. They attend Genesis Bible Church in Dunwoody. Terry and Sondra have
three daughters and three grandsons. Sondra will be teaching sixth grade English, 7th and 8th grade
English, and high school English.
