Dunwoody Homeschool Parental Agreement

      2010/2011

1.                My child has read and will comply with the Dunwoody
Classes Vision Statement which states in part that
”my cooperation
and consideration will be given to the teachers and fellow
students allowing everyone to learn at his or her greatest
capacity..."
Consistent interruptions, rude, disrespectful, or dangerous
behavior reduces the quality of the experience for everyone, and will not
be tolerated.

2.   I am responsible for paying the membership fee for Dunwoody
Classes for 2010-2011 will be
$40 per semester for one student or
$60 per semester for multiple students enrolled, which includes
unlimited class choices
. The membership fee is made payable to
Becky Humphrey and must be paid before or by the first day of class.

The facility fee for each family this year is $40 for the entire school year.
A separate check needs to be made out to North Peachtree
Baptist Church in the amount of $40
and sent or delivered to Becky
Humphrey on or before the first day of classes.

Teacher registration and tuition are made payable separately to the
individual teachers.
   

3.        I am responsible for my child before and after all classes. *With
the exception of lunch break. Students may arrive 10 minutes before
class and must be picked up immediately after a class is scheduled to
end.

4.        If my child is going to participate in lunch break, I will contribute
my time as "Volunteer Support Staff" or ensure that I arrange a
substitute in advance.

5.        High school students are to be accounted for at all times.  They
are not to be unsupervised or allowed to roam the building or grounds.  
If they are in between classes, they are expected to sit in a study hall.

6.        Tuition payments should be made directly to the teachers.  
Teachers are to be paid by the first of each month for a nine-month
period.  If for some reason, a child must withdraw from a class prior to
the end of a semester, tuition must be paid for the entire semester.  
Drop/add will be allowed without penalty at the end of fall semester
ONLY.

7.        Each student attending Study Hall will be charged $10 per
semester, payable to Becky Humphrey at the beginning of each
semester. While in Study Hall the following rules apply: speak softly &
kindly, stay in the Study Hall room at all times except for going to the
restrooms, no food or drink is allowed in Study Hall, iPods/mp3 players
are fine, no speakers or devices to play music publicly, the pool table
and ping pong table are off limits.

8.        Failure to meet these parental responsibilities may result in a
student being asked to withdrawn from the Dunwoody Classes, or be
accompanied to class by the parent.

(12:00 - 12:30pm); and I understand that in order for him/her to be on
campus during that time, I am responsible for participating in the parent
volunteer rotation.  If I am unable to meet my obligation, I am aware that I
must find a substitute.
