Dunwoody Homeschool Parental Agreement

              2009/2010

1.                My child has read and will comply with the Dunwoody
Classes Vision Statement which states in part that
”my cooperation
and consideration will be given to the teachers and fellow
students allowing everyone to learn at his or her greatest
capacity..."
Consistent interruptions, rude, disrespectful, or dangerous
behavior reduces the quality of the experience for everyone, and will not
be tolerated.

2.

3.        I am responsible for my child before and after all classes. *With
the exception of lunch break. Students may arrive 10 minutes before
class and must be picked up immediately after a class is scheduled to
end.

4.        If my child is going to participate in lunch break, I will contribute
my time as "Volunteer Support Staff" or ensure that I arrange a
substitute in advance.

5.        High school students are to be accounted for at all times.  They
are not to be unsupervised or allowed to roam the building or grounds.
If they are in between classes, they are expected to sit in a study hall.

6.        Tuition payments should be made directly to the teachers.
Teachers are to be paid by the first of each month for a nine-month
period.  If for some reason, a child must withdraw from a class prior to
the end of a semester, tuition must be paid for the entire semester.
Drop/add will be allowed without penalty at the end of fall semester
ONLY.

7.        Failure to meet these parental responsibilities may result in a
student being asked to withdrawn from the Dunwoody Classes, or be
accompanied to class by the parent.

Our reason for being
To promote excellence in education by providing an atmosphere where:

•        students are taught that education is not a competition, but is a continual striving
to have a higher level of knowledge.
•        cooperation and consideration will be given to the teachers and other students
allowing everyone to learn at his or her greatest capacity.
•        students are led to discover that learning and studying are not just something
that is required for a test or a class, but is instilled for a lifetime, fostering the love of
learning.
I am responsible for paying the membership fee for Dunwoody Classes
for 2009-2010 which will be $75 per semester for one student or $100

includes the facility fee and unlimited choices of classes. Teacher
registration and tuition are made payable separately to the individual
teachers. The membership fee is made payable to Becky Humphrey and
must be paid before or by the first day of class. This one membership fee
and the teacher fees are the only fees that will be assessed.
