Introduction to the World's Religions (full year)
In this course we will introduce the major religions of the world, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taosim,
Confucianism, Judaism, Christianity & Islam. We will study, in turn, their histories, teachings, and sacred
texts as well as the cultures which formed them and which have been formed by them. Our approach will
be implicitly comparative as we grapple with the difficult questions of Truth, and the biases inherent in
the field of Religious Studies itself.
Textbook: Molloy, Michael, Experiencing the Worlds Religions (McGraw-Hill, 2005).
The cost of the course is $76 per month for nine months plus a $50 registration fee.

Dunwoody Classes

Family Membership Fee
The membership fee for Dunwoody Classes for 2009-2010 will be $75 per semester for one student or
$100 per semester for families with multiple students. The membership fee includes the facility fee and
unlimited choices of classes. Teacher registration and tuition are made payable separately to the
individual teachers. The membership fee is made payable to Becky Humphrey and must be paid before or
by the first day of class. This one membership fee and the teacher fees are the only fees that will be
assessed.
