Pre-Algebra Course Description
Pre-algebra reviews and builds on the arithmetic skills while building a foundation for success in
algebra.The concept of the unknown variable will be introduced and students will be able to evaluate
expressions using whole numbers, decimals, integers, and rational numbers.
Fees
$50/month class fee with a one time $50 registration fee.

Assignments
The textbook acts as a framework. Class lectures and notes are important for clarification. Additional
assignments will be used from other sources such as SAXON math, but will be provided to the students.
Tutor
I am available for extra help as the in house tutor on Tuesday afternoons. Students enrolled in class do
not pay tutor fees.

Dunwoody Classes

Family Membership Fee
The membership fee for Dunwoody Classes for 2009-2010 will be $75 per semester for one student and
$100 per semester for families with multiple students. The membership fee includes the facility fee and
unlimited choices of classes. Teacher registration and tuition are made payable separately to the
individual teachers. The membership fee is made payable to Becky Humphrey and must be paid before or
by the first day of class. This one membership fee and the teacher fees are the only fees that will be
assessed.
