Speech/Drama Class:
This class will cover the basics of Speech and Drama
from (staging, voice (how to use your voice thru
speech), body movement (how to present yourself in
front of an audience) and oral interruption the ability to
dialogue literature thru speeches written as well as
stories read. Speech/Drama class will help and equip
these students with the ability to share the Gospel with
confidence and conviction.
They will learn the art to critique themselves as well as
others. This way they will learn the total art of
Communication thru Speech/Drama. Through different
fun assignments from doing Speeches on story books
to acting out skits they will be able to learn how to take
the initiative and make others fill comfortable and
connected. The goal is to move outside your comfort
zone and initiate contact with others. To witness for
Jesus we must learn to connect with others around us
(Acts 22:15).
I believe that Speech/Drama is not to prepare these
students to be performers on the stage as much as to
prepare these kids to stand up with confidence when
sharing their beliefs. They will learn how to be heard
(thru voice techniques) as well as understood. Jesus
and His disciples stood before the world sharing Gods
plan of salvation to some of the toughest audiences but
they had confidence and a presence all their own. I pray
these students will learn to do the same.

Dunwoody Classes
2010-2011
Family Fees
The membership fee for Dunwoody Classes for 2010-2011
will be $40 per semester for one student or $60 per
semester for multiple students enrolled, which
includes unlimited class choices. The membership fee is
made payable to Becky Humphrey and must be paid before
or by the first day of class.
The facility fee for each family this year is $40 for the entire
school year. A separate check needs to be made out to
North Peachtree Baptist Church in the amount of $40
and sent or delivered to Becky Humphrey on or before the
first day of classes.
Teacher registration and tuition are made payable separately
to the individual teachers.
