Background and credentials:  Mrs. Lane Coe graduated
valedictorian of the College of Health Related Professions
with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology degree
from the University of Florida.  She is a former member of
the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.  Building on
7 years of Laboratory Management and Technical
Instructing, Lane has home educated 23 years and
graduated 5 children thereby, with three still at home.  Two
grads are currently in college (undergrad and graduate
school), one more starting this fall, one serving in Iraq and
one married and mother of 2.  The Coe children have
been accepted for admission by a variety of higher
institutions including Wheaton College (IL), Indiana
University, Eastman School of Music at the University of
Rochester, Florida State University, Columbus State
University, University of Georgia, and Furman University.

Lane taught Chemistry and Physical Science at Bristol
Academy for the last two years, and substituted often for
Physics and other classes.  Mrs. Coe also serves on the
Board of Directors for Franklin Pond Chamber Music, a
unique summer chamber-music program for talented
pre-college musicians.

Personal:  Mrs. Coe teaches from a college preparatory
mindset.  She practices sharing knowledge with students
while encouraging character and virtue.  Lane has been
married for 31 years to Bill Coe, a mechanical engineer.  
They both are members of First Redeemer Church where
they teach 6th grade Sunday School and sing in the choir.  
Lane is teaching Chemistry, Algebra I, Pre-Algebra and is
the In-House Math and Science Tutor at Dunwoody
Homeschool Classes.
