Cyndi Schroeder and her husband, Phil (married
February 2008), live in Stone Mountain. She was
homeschooled through high school, and has a BA in
English-Literature from Bryan College in Dayton, TN,
where she graduated summa cum laude. She also has
completed some postgraduate work, mostly in Medieval
Studies, and is currently taking Latin online from UGA.
Medieval European History, British Literature, and
children's literature are strong interests of hers; she is
also interested in Roman history and literature - really
almost any history and literature! She has studied at
various times Greek, Latin, Old English, Farsi, Uzbek,
and Spanish. In addition to spending about 7 years of
her childhood in Pakistan and Uzbekistan, she has
travelled to various places, including Costa Rica and
Thailand; otherwise she has lived in east Tennessee
and the Atlanta area. As well as teaching at Dunwoody
Classes, Cyndi substitute teaches in the area. She
and her husband attend church in Lilburn.
