Hello, my name is Becky Humphrey.

I am a former homeschool mom who taught two daughters for eight years. I have
volunteered to lead and teach children most of my adult life, including children’s worship
and other Christian children’s ministries such as, “Girls in Action” and children’s choir.
These occasions have given me many opportunities to work with students of all ages.
One of my favorite things to teach is the skills of traditional homemaking.  I believe with
all my heart that these skills should be part of every young person’s life.

I have a great deal of experience in the homemaking skills, and am passionate about
performing them.  As the oldest of six children, I started cooking at the age of ten.  I have
actively pursued many different types of cooking, including food preservation, and I am
currently creating a cookbook of my own recipes.

As a new bride, twenty-eight years ago, I learned to sew. Since than, I have gone on to
create handcrafted items of all sorts to supply my home, and to sell in craft shows.  I
enjoy the satisfaction and cost effectiveness of producing my family’s clothes,
accessories, and home decor.
