Family Fees
The membership fee for Dunwoody Classes for
2010-2011 will be $40 per semester for one student
or $60 per semester for multiple students enrolled,
which includes unlimited class choices. The
membership fee is made payable to Becky Humphrey and
must be paid before or by the first day of class.
The facility fee for each family this year is $40 for the
entire school year. A separate check needs to be
made out to North Peachtree Baptist Church in the
amount of $40 and sent or delivered to Becky Humphrey
on or before the first day of classes.
Teacher registration and tuition are made payable
separately to the individual teachers.

Art thru the ages classes: These are THE most popular
classes both IN and out( mobile classes) our studio! ATA
classes are a chronological study of art with hands on art
projects relating to their time period. Students build at
each level more advanced skills and techniques in painting
( acrylic and watercolor) collage, printmaking, glazing with
clay, sculpture, drawing in pastels, pen and Ink,
calligrapghy,paper making and so much more. Studetns
will each have a sketch book as well as making an artists
time line and “artist’s cards”.
Art thru the ages 103: ages 6th-8th grades: This is for
the students that has already taken 102 OR is in this age
category!
This class begins to spend more and more time on
technique. Projects last a bit longer. While still
chronological it also focuses on geographical approach to
Art. Students will study Asian art creating Chinese
calligraphy, Chinese brush stroke water color, Clay pieces
inspired by Terracotta Soldiers, drawings in Conte, orgami,
making of Asian tea cups and rice bowls followed by a
Chinese tea ( boys like this too! There is food there!)
Students will learn the skill of Batik painting while creating
an Egyptian Batik, create Greek Tragedy masks on their
OWN faces!, create a stain glass window, paint a still life
in Cezanne fashion, Stain glass window,Photograpghy unit
as relates to Modern art and more! Students will keep a
Art journal/ sketch book as well as art time line for fun!
This is a very hands on class!

These are YEAR long classes. The total cost is broken
down by month making it $55.00 per month.
The supply fee will be in 2 installments this year. Sept-
Dec:$80.00/ Jan-May:$100.00
Registration fee: There is NO registration fee if the total
class is paid in full/ there is also a 10% discount ( that’s
like one class free!) If families pay in installments we are
glad to do that. The registration fee with installments is
$30.00 ( per family)
There is also NO registration fee if registered by JUNE lst
and paid.
